Benefits of Membership

The classes, workshops and field trips offered by Cobb County Gem and Mineral Society (CCGMS) are open to members of the society. Join us for $20 a year for a family membership and an email newsletter.  Membership with newsletters sent via U.S. mail is $30 annually. Non-members are invited to attend a meeting without charge to see if CCGMS is for you.  Click here for full membership information.

Next Meeting

The March 13th meeting features John Iacullo speaking on "Grading gold and the Do's and Don'ts in the selling, buying and recycling of gold jewelry".  John is a licensed gold dealer in Georgia, and if CCGMS members want to bring "gold" in John will be happy to show you how to determine its grade after his presentation.  Click for meeting details.

Next 1st Tues. Workshop

March's 1st Tuesday workshop will be an introduction to patina taught by Bob Hohn.  The class is full.


Club Calendar

Open Workshop time is on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7-9 pm.  Intro to Cabbing class  is required before you can participate in an Open Workshop (work on cabbing machines under a Foreman's Supervision).   Click here to view this month's scheduled events.
