Learn how to identify Earth's most common twenty minerals with our new Self Guided Mineral Identification Kits. Dion Stewart has created kits that come with a mineral identification key, testing materials, and a set of instructions. They were presented at the August 2010 meeting and are now available to be checked out to members at the monthly meeting. They are fun and educational for both adults and students.
The kits were developed as part of a STEM grant in cooperation with CCGMS and Georgia Perimeter College.
