Who are we?
We are a non-profit organization located in Marietta, GA & dedicated to the studying and collecting of rocks, minerals, gemstones, and fossils and the practice of the lapidary arts.
When & where do we meet?
Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:30 PM. The meeting location is usually at the East Cobb Government Building, 4400 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30068
NOTE: Our July meeting will be the annual picnic at Acworth Beech on July 12th. No Tuesday meeting.

What about membership?
Membership is twenty dollars per year and covers the entire family. Membership entitles the family to a newsletter published each month, attend the free classes taught at the workshop on the first Tuesday of each month, attend field trips, use the equipment at the workshop and access to our message board. What do we offer members?
Our organization provides free monthly classes on the 1st Tuesday of each month, at 7pm, to its members in a number of unique lapidary crafts, such as wire wrapping, gem trees, chain making, bead stringing and knotting, soapstone carving, and much more. Students will be responsible for all supplies needed for the various classes.
When is our next annual show?
Our annual show is held at the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta during the forth weekend of November. Our show for 2008 will be held on November 21, 22, 23. Show hours are: Friday, November 21 from 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday, November 22 from 10 AM to 6 PM, and on Sunday, November 23 from 10 AM to 5 PM. Our show features 36 dealers, selling a wide variety of gems, minerals and jewelry, and lapidary-related articles. We also have a large number of display cases, and we have live demonstrations in lapidary arts such as faceting, cabbing and other hobby related crafts.
