Faceting machineLearn how to facet one stone over this 6-week course.  Each student is assigned a club faceting machine and will cut their first faceted stone from a glass marble.

Instructor:  Roy Meade

Cost:  Approximately $30 for 6 two-hour sessions.  If additional sessions are required to finish your stone, the fee is $2.50 per hour.

Classes are scheduled around the availability of the instructor.  To be placed on the waiting list for the next class, contact Ruth via the web site contact form.

All workshop classes are "Introductory" classes that allow members to try their hand at a particular lapidary or jewelry-making skill.  Preference is given to members who have not taken the class before.  Student's who wish to retake a class will be considered only after all first-time students are accommodated.  All returning students require prior approval from the instructor.  Once you find a lapidary or jewelry-making skill that you enjoy we encourage you to take classes from local artists, William Holland School of Lapidary Arts and/or Wildacres to further your skills.
